WHAT DO YOU WANT How We’re Moving Smarter in May:

back to blog

At OMNIA, we build beautiful brands, yes. But that’s never been enough for us. Pretty is easy. Strategy is the hard part. And making strategy feel effortless? That’s where we live.

Yesterday, our team sat through a five-hour internal meeting—a full reset, recalibration, and truth-telling session. We didn’t gather to critique the work. We gathered to look under the hood. Because every once in a while, you have to pause and ask:

Are we still building the way we say we are? Are our systems keeping up with our standards? Are our goals just movement—or are they actually momentum?

That meeting answered all three: yes, no, and… almost.

The Intake Shift: Why Our Form Wasn’t Enough

We’ve been working with some of the sharpest brands in our ecosystem—Mid and Slappin’ level clients who are doing more than “posting content.” They’re launching, growing, scaling, and trying to sell smarter and deeper. But after reviewing all of May’s priorities across our client roster, we realized something critical:

Our intake form—our “we know what to do” starting point—wasn’t telling us what matters now. It told us what was true when they signed on. Not what was real this week.

So we changed it.

Immediately.

Because our job isn’t to “deliver content.” Our job is to help our clients move. And movement requires fresh intel. Real context. Actual clarity. Otherwise, you’re just creating things that sit in a folder and look pretty while the business tries to figure out what’s next.

Every Brand Needs Movement

If there’s one thing we walked away from that meeting with, it’s this:

Stagnation is sabotage.

Every brand needs motion. Not constant chaos—but intentional, strategic, values-aligned momentum. Without it, your audience checks out. Your team loses the narrative. Your marketing becomes a wallpapered hallway of nice graphics that no one walks down.

So May? We’re making it smarter. Sharper. More directional. We are thinking about this one thing… WHAT DO YOU WANT, like for real though.

What We’re Focusing On: SMART Goals (The Real Kind)

You’ve heard of SMART goals. Maybe you’ve even pretended to write one in a Google Doc once. But this month, we’re not just checking the acronym—we’re redefining what it actually means inside a brand that’s trying to grow on purpose.

So let’s break it down:

  • S – Specific
Not vague “we want to grow.” We want to grow by 10%, through email, in 30 days.
  • M – Measurable
If we can’t track it, it doesn’t count.
  • A – Achievable
Realistic, within scope, with the team we have and the time we’re in.
  • R – Relevant
It has to tie directly to a larger business goal. No vanity metrics allowed.
  • T – Time-Bound
Set the deadline. Honor it. Move.

What SMART Goals Are

Not:

  • They are not “post more Reels.”
  • They are not “have better engagement.”
  • They are not “make the brand feel more fun.”

They are strategic, trackable goals that drive a client’s business toward something tangible. Something we can point to at the end of the month and say: we helped you build this.

How We’re Supporting It

Internally, we’re building a SMART goal tracking system across every client tier.

Every campaign. Every post. Every creative asset. It all now ladders back to:

  • A measurable goal
  • A mapped-out strategy
  • A post-month review that tells the truth

This isn’t just for us. This is how we make our clients better, sharper, more focused, and more successful—so they stay. So they refer. So they grow. So we all win.

Strategy, and the Standard We Hold

We’ve always said it: this work has to go deeper than surface-level.

That applies to our foundational brands. That applies to our funnels. That applies to how we show up inside our own business too.

This month is about making everything we touch intentional and impactful—for our clients, our team, and the brands we’re helping become legends.

So if you’re working with us in May, expect a little more friction—and a lot more clarity.

Because we’re not just creating for you.

We’re creating with purpose.
